13, 2007 (Azau, Russia) The day before his 11th birthday,
Jordan Romero of Big Bear, Calif., moved another step
closer to his goal of becoming the youngest person
to climb the highest peak on each of the seven continents.
On July 11, Jordan and his family successfully reached
the top of Europe¹s highest peak, 18,498-foot
Mt. Elbrus.
